Moving House or Buying a New Build
Our temporary blind service is the perfect choice for instant privacy for your home.
Important as they are, but window coverings may be something you think about after you have moved house or take possession of your new build home, but we don’t want you left with bare, open windows!
Nobody enjoys bare open windows for the whole world to peer through, plus rooms don’t feel finished without a window covering. Blinds by Design temporary blinds are designed to offer you full privacy from the outside world whilst we manufacture your bespoke blinds ready for installation.
FREE Service
The service is FREE for all customers that use our full manufacture and fitting service, and it’s a very simple process.
Everything starts of course with an initial quotation to supply and fix your chosen New Blinds. It is important that we undertake the full survey and measurements to ensure your new window dressings are manufactured to the correct specifications. Once agreed, we will supply you with sufficient temporary blinds for each window as necessary, whilst we manufacture your new blinds.

Process:
Following the initial survey and upon agreement of your order:
- You will be advised of an approximate completion date of your new blinds
- We will supply and install the temporary blinds
- Blinds will remain until new blinds are completed ready for installation
- On an agreed installation date, fitters will remove temporary blinds on the day of installation of your new blinds
*Where possible, access to new build / new home would speed up the process for you.
